A Fantasi class yacht from Sweden, Earendil is built of Brazilian mahogany on oak, with the hull planking close seamed with no caulking.
Initially, we were approached to carry out a sizeable repair to the aft end of the foredeck / forward end of the coach roof.
Down below, at some time, the quarter berth and chart table joinery had been removed completely for some reason. In 2018 we were tasked with rebuilding a new quarter berth and chart table to reinstate what was originally there.
In late Summer 2021, Earendil came back into the shed and we re-caulked her deck, and prepared all her brightwork, then built up coats of ‘Coelan’ clear over a tinted primer to offer a very robust protective coating.
