A very fine looking 43 foot Yawl, Frenesi was designed and built by McGruers in 1961.
She is a very strong boat and beautifully put together, but after celebrating her sixtieth birthday, a structural survey highlighted there were several issues to tend to, to keep her in top class order.
Notably, it was time to lift her from the ballast keel, and remove the iron floors, then repair and refurbish. As such, a complete set of new bronze keel bolts were fitted. As the strap floors were progressively removed, any repairs needed to the underlying frames were replaced with steamed and laminated scarfed timbers, to make good.
We also successfully undertook planking repairs in her port quarter topsides, and port bow below the waterline.
Both her masts were then re-varnished before re-stepping, and a new set of standing rigging was supplied and fitted by Holman Rigging.
